| Abstract | As part of the SciREX program that is funded by MEXT, this is a survey-based report completed by MEXT-contracted think tank company, Mitsubishi UFJ Research & Consulting company. In the fast developing data-driven society, the contractor made surveys in other countries on open research data as to how they share and make public their data, and how they train data librarians and data curators. Based on the result, the report recommends the policies Japan should consider to take.
