This is the third of the seminar series titled "Seminars on State-of-the Art Science & Technology and Innovation" organized by the Innovation Management Policy Program (IMPP), SciREX core center at Hitotsubashi University (refer to the first and second seminars). Dr. Kentaro Nakamura from Fujitsu will talk about the current and future of regenerative medicine.

| Outline | Reneretatie Medicine and Tissue Engineering: Twenty-five years have passed since these words were born in the United States. A huge amount of money has been invested in Japan for the research in these areas for the past 10 years, especiaslly after the human iPS cell emerged. On the other hand, we have not seen any successful business models born from regeneratie medicine, with some going out of the scene. This seminar will first focus on the understaning of the technology and then find out the issues to be solved now and in the future. |
